When I was a child my parents used to ask me “Are you scared of the ceiling falling on you or something?” as I was always outside playing and riding my bike. Now as a parent of two wonderful children, I am concerned about the amount of screen time children are getting and how it is affecting their development. The Outdoors Project is a break from these pressures of modern life, where children experience the outdoors, keeping them grounded, learn new skills and create core memories.
Toton Fields Nature Reserve is a fantastic pocket of nature surrounded by Nottinghamshire towns and villages, easily accessed by the people of Nottingham. We’re looking forward to seeing your kids at our clubs. They will come home, happy, mucky and having made new friends.
