Winter is coming! Here's something to keep the children entertained over the Christmas school holidays, for the more quiet & methodical kids to the lively & energetic!

We'll have 1 week of activities running in Brighton & Hove for the festive period this year (2024), running from the 16th - 20th December.  The Outdoors Project is excited to present our Xmas Holiday Clubs at the Hove Site. A little adventure in a green space around the corner from you! Here's our timetable this year, running Monday to Friday for ages 5-12.

Christmas Holiday Club Schedule:

16th Dec (Mon) - 09:00 - 3:00
BUSHCRAFT VS MINECRAFT
Welcome to our popular day based around Minecraft & den making! The kids will work in teams and creatively problem-solve by building dens, earning reward tokens, playing the Creeper Game, and using our Crafting Table to create items with hidden ‘elements’ found throughout the overworld. 

17th Dec (Tue) - 09:00 - 3:00
XMAS CAMPFIRE COOKOUT & FIRELIGHTING
Gather around the campfire for some winter treats! Kids will cook pancakes, brew pine needle tea, toast s’mores, and practice firelighting skills with various bushcraft techniques. 

18th Dec (Wed) - 09:00 - 3:00
CHARLIE & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY
A day of wild imagination, storytelling, and delicious fun! Kids can build a dream chocolate factory, make a marshmallow castle, toast frosted s’mores, and create yummy jewelry to take home. Plus, the excitement of searching for Golden Tickets awaits!

CHRISTMAS NERF: THE RETURN OF BAD SANTA!!
An imposter Santa is on the loose and out to steal Christmas! Kids will gear up for an action-packed day of Nerf dart dodging and team-based tactical games. (Recommended for ages 6+ due to the competitive nature of the day.) 

20th Dec (Fri) - 09:00 - 3:00
MEGA GAMES, SNOW MAKING, SMORES & ART ATTACK
Experience a magical mix of mega field games, outdoor adventures, and seasonal activities! Kids will toast s’mores around the campfire, create ‘snow’ balls to take home, and unleash their creativity by painting with water pistols. 

There’s a certain magic that comes with winter & Christmas... cosy campfires, warming treats, crisp air, the excitement & mystery of Santa Claus, and the spirit & joy of kids! Whether it's toasting marshmallows, crafting things from nature, or playing games in groups together, our holiday clubs are all about making memories & having classic childhood fun!
