This is one of best holiday clubs, full of fun and there's always something exciting learn. My son has been going for the past 2 years, he simply loves attending every time!
The range of activities are brilliant and never fail to engage my child.
Another epic day. 3 years of attending outdoors project and my son still thinks it’s the best thing ever.
My children absolutely love going to The Outdoors Project. I feel assured that they are in safe hands and that they are getting their fill of fun out in the fresh air.
Fantastic club run by enthusiastic people who genuinely care about the children. Always fun and geared around the children rain or shine!
My daughter was full of beans and bursting with lovely stories when I collected her.
My daughter has asked whether she can attend the after school club until she leaves this school
My daughter was beaming after an amazing day outdoors making new friends and learning awesome new skills. The staff were enthusiastic and encouraging. She couldn't wait to go back the following day!

Here’s a fun little project to test out your raft making skills! There are tons of different methods and materials you can use, so let’s experiment by building a mini raft out of natural materials or materials you can find around the house. The aim is to see if you can make something that floats and even sails!
Now depending on how challenging you want to make this will depend on what materials you use. We always suggest starting off simple first to experience a successful raft and then building up from there.
A fun activity involving the humble yet mighty stick! When embarking on a walk in our local green space or in our gardens there’s so much to see and find. Throughout time many native people around the world have used “Journey Sticks” to collect items important to them, attach them to their stick and use the stick to retell the story of their journey. We challenge you to make a “Journey Stick” yourself to retell the story of your adventure in nature!
DEALINE EXTENDED TILL 1ST JUNE 2020
KIDS here's your chance to make your stamp on The Outdoors Project. We’ll choose our top 2 to go into production ready for when we see you at clubs again.
The Outdoors Project team are missing our little friends (and each other) loads! We can't believe how quick the time is flying by, like many we've had our ups and downs.. one major challenge in our house is keeping up with food demands. Watch the video and find out how the kids can create their own snacks from natural resources!!
Merlin the legendary wizard was King Arthurs personal advisor back in the day (medieval day to be exact).
Now being a wizard, you must have a good knowledge of all things magical when it comes to helping your pal – the King - through some challenging times. Magic potions would be especially useful to a King and his knights of the round table surely?
Kites are great fun to make and play with! Here’s a simple kite you can make anytime with very little equipment. It’s a pull kite so it can be used inside and out!
Hey Kids,
There’s plenty of cool stuff to celebrate this time of year. Spring has sprung now, the days are lighter, the birds are out singing, there’s plenty of wildlife about and the Easter Bunny pays us a nice little visit, what’s not to love!
To help celebrate all things Easter and Spring here’s some nice activity ideas you can do over the 'holidays'. We'll send another 'dose' for week 2.
Still time to DESIGN A PATCH, send us your designs for the chance to have them put into production.
Adventure on as best you can.

In the wise words of Roald Dahl "A little nonsense now and then, is cherished by the wisest men"
Hey kids, we’re back in the land of the Vikings! Joel’s favourite time period, I think he is part Viking - his middle name is "Bjorn" and his family used to live in Denmark so it would explain a lot! This time we’re exploring a traditional game played in settlements and camps. It’s a game of patience, skill and involves bit of tracking and stalking.
It’s called Jomswikinger – bet you can’t say that out loud ten times in a row!
Roughly translated it means “Blind Viking chest touch smash game”. Do we have your attention yet? Read on ....
Native American Stick Game "Lahal"
Hey kids, Let’s learn about a traditional game played throughout tribes of the Southwest Native America’s.
This fun, light hearted game was often played when new tribes met as an ice breaker, traditionally used at funerals as distraction on a sad day or used between tribes to avoid war!
We’re going to craft our own set and then learn the rules to play.
Hey kids,
Outdoors Project leader Helen has a game to share from one of her favourite David Walliams books "Gangsta Granny"!
This is one of my favourite books, Ben and Grandma make a great team!
I'm going to show you how to build your own laser maze and assault course to steal the crown jewels and escape to victory!!
If you haven’t seen the film, here’s a link for the film version of this great book on CBBC.
The Vikings were amazing! Probably one of our favourite points in history.
Vikings often used Rune Stones which were like big sign posts, leaving messages or warning to others.
