As busy parents to 5 children, Jay and George know first-hand how important it is to ensure children get outdoors, connecting with nature and living happier and healthier lives. Their Wokingham & Bracknell clubs launched in July and immediately received rave reviews on Google and they’re now building their after-school clubs offering, as well as building the brand via their birthday parties. 
We caught up with Jay and George asked him about his first couple of months as a franchisee.

Rowan was our very first franchisee to join the Outdoors Project back in 2014. Although the franchise was very different then, the mission hasn't changed. As a result, Rowan's been someone that both new and old franchisee’s, as well as HQ ,go to for advice.

“The thing I’ve loved most about taking on a franchise is that it’s given me the autonomy of running my own business but without the anxiety of trying to invent everything from scratch.

The business model is tried and tested, and new franchises are statistically far less likely to fail than a completely new business. If you tend to worry and over-think things as I do, a franchise means easier sleeps.”

After many years teaching Mel launched the Outdoors Project Cirencester in August of this year. Mel wanted to use her teaching experience and passion for the Outdoors in a new venture, but was nervous about starting a business. Having the Outdoors Project HQ Team beside her as she launched her clubs was the perfect combination of Mel's infectious enthusiasm for running clubs and the franchise support expertise in marketing, operations and business administration.

Lewes Franchise Heads to Into The Tree's Festival

The Outdoors Project Lewes Team recently had the pleasure of attending 'Into The Trees', a children's festival of nature, play and discovery. The festival was held in the heart of the Sussex countryside and attracted many families who were looking for a fun day out in nature.
